ABSTRACT: Development of B. thalassina and S. singularis was not accomplished at 15°C at 35°C. Development in both species was similarly affected by temperature at the range 20-30°C; an increase in ambient temperature within this ranged a reduction in the developmental period. However, B. tlialassina showed wider range of temperature tolerance than S. singularis . The “preferred temperature” range of 20.7°C to 34.9 °C for B. thalassina was wider than 23 °C to 32 °C for S. singularis
